"Stayed here when visiting family/friends. We used to live in Hampshire so the area was already known to us. Cottage is lovely and homely, very well equipped. A very thoughtful welcome pack on arrival - much appreciated. The second bedroom is not a double but is a very large single (not a problem for us). Small courtyard garden to sit in (when weather warms up!) The lane is very narrow and parking might be an issue if you take two cars - we have a large estate car and that fitted in front of the cottage OK - we were lucky that the adjoining house was empty during our stay, so no other vehicles to manoeuvre around. The owner has a lot of her own personal ornaments in the house - I hope Jill won't mind me saying that the property might benefit from a little de-personalisation (especially window sills - pulling down the roller blinds you need to avoid quite a few ornaments to make sure you don't knock them over - same too for the smaller bedroom as every surface had "stuff" on them). That said, there is ample storage in the wardrobes/drawers. The beds are comfortable, the Wi-Fi excellent. Would certainly recommend and return (although our son has now moved into central Southampton!). Thanks for letting us stay in your lovely home."
