The only slight downside was the empty building sites surrounding the hotel with no sign of imminent development, giving the area a rather neglected feel. However the Gas Street basin area was very close by which was very pleasant."

"I think every standard room should have glass wear and tea/coffee , water But I know it’s not only Ibis that cuts down on every need of the guests so they can then charge for those basic services . Check out times keep getting earlier but checkin times keep getting later . This is a general view of mine for almost every Franchised hotel however £30 fee for a night and the cleanness , efficiency, safety of the guests is more than reasonable. I slept very well too."

"My husband and I booked a one night stay at this hotel unfortunately my husband was taken ill on arrival and spent a week in hospital, the hotel staff and management were amazing they went above and beyond to enable me to stay close to my husband at a very stressful time, I cannot thank the whole team enough especially Richard."
