Helen, her Mum & Alan the caretaker were so helpful to us & went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The cottage is so cosy & done out to a really high standard with everything you could need. The area is stunning, so close to the Lakes and the mountain views give a sense of peace & tranquility. If only life was like that more often!"

"Annexe to owner's house. We made the best of our stay, travelled around the lakes & enjoyed the hot tub. Property is clean and tidy. However, it seems to have been neglected of late, there are some easy changes which would have made a huge difference to the quality & comfort of our stay: Key code sent just a few hrs before check in at 4pm (we were already travelling & concerned we wouldn't be able to get in on arrival; a number of light bulbs need replacing (eg only ONE of the 4 cooker hood...

"Had a lovely stay at the cottage. All the check in information was sent in advance and we had no trouble getting into the house. Had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. Location was brilliant, nice easy stroll down to the lake edge. Would definitely stay again. "
