"Beautiful hotel, clean, spacious rooms, good service fron reception and a yummy chocolate cookie on arrival! Food is expensive and not much of a variety so decided to eat out. Spa was very relaxing with a pool, outdoor/indoor jacuzzi, stream rooms, sauna and aroma room. Plenty of beds available around 4pm but became busier after 5. Overall had a lovely time and we look forward to our next stay!"

"Dylan on reception was outstanding in his role. He welcomed us on arrival giving us all the information we needed. He kindly arranged a taxi for us later and was courteous, helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Also Peter who was cleaning the tables in the bar. A nice friendly interesting gentleman."

"Set in beautiful surroundings with safe parking and top notch health and fitness suite. Easy access from M56 and close to all amenities including two golf course and super sports. Clubs. Hotel room was very modern and stylish,clean, welcoming and with good wifi and internet tv. Highly recommend for a reasonable weekend rate."

"We loved the rooms and the hotel. It is in a great location and there is good underground parking albeit £20 pn. Some of the rooms and areas are starting to look a little bit tatty in places. The chair I sat on in the dining area was quite disgusting. It was covered in stains. I would not bother with the breakfast. It is really terrible. We had the continental offering.Porridge tasted like the milk had gone off and took about 30 minutes from order to serving.My husband ordered toast and it was stole cold when it arrived. It didn't even melt the butter slightly the continental breakfast menu had been changed since our last stay 3 weeks prior. We thought it was very bad last time but this is even worse. There were no capuccinos. They were replaced by 2 urns of stale coffee and hot water for the make your own cup of tea. Sliced fruit was replaced by whole fruit. A women on the next table helped herself to 2 bananas and 2 large plums from the fruit bowl and put them in her bag. This falling standards and cost cutting must be loosing the hotel many of it customers."

"Nice hotel within walking distance of the train station and town centre. Large room..which would benefit from a set of drawers though! Shower pressure wasn't great but overall we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was nice but no pastries etc...if you didn't want a cooked one there wasn't much else. Good value...quiet location....we were glad not to be in the city centre on a Saturday night! Pool was lovely after a day of shopping."

"Unfortunately my experience in room 414 last night was not good, there was an annoing continuous sound all night up above the room( not the air conditioning unit ss this was off) also the bed was unsteady. Each time my husband or i moved it disturbed the other person. This resulted in myself not having a good nights rest . Shame as all previous visits to the Grosvenor have been amazing ."
