A great weekend away for my husbands birthday. The hotel is easy to find. Staff, through all levels, were very professional, courteous and made you feel very welcome. Our room was spotless but next time we stay we will probably pay extra so we can try one of the suites. Food was to a very high standard. All in all many thanks to the hotel and staff for making our weekend away an enjoyable one. Christine and Martin

We stayed here to celebrate my husbands special birthday. From the moment we drove up and saw the impressive ship we knew we were in for a special treat. Everything about this place is incredible. The staff were so helpful and very welcoming. You helped make my husbands birthday treat a very special memory. Thank you !

Our stay at the hotel was amazing! Our favourite part was using the steam room, sauna and pool! All the staff were extremely helpful, kind and friendly which was so amazing! The breakfast was great with a good varied selection which was very much enjoyed! I will definitely be staying again!

Am amazing hotel staff absolutely fantastic. Room was large as was the bathroom. Fantastic view of the garden. Free tea and coffee all day. Breakfast was good. Bus stop just outside the hotel to get into Edinburgh city centre.

stayed here with my husband for our first wedding anniversary from 21/4/23 til 25/4/23 breakfast was amazing each morning my husband especially loved the Scottish breakfast and I tried it as well and to my surprise loved haggis when I had it in England I didn't like it but loved it on your Scottish breakfast. the coffee was lush and the breakfast set us up for the day. they knew it was our anniversary so when we arrived we saw in our room a little Scottish postcard and a few treats for our...

I can't fault the hotel, the staff, the bar, the food or the price. Staff were young but knowledgable. Food was simple but delicious. The bar had inventive twists on drinks (Negronis with port replacing Martini Rosso? A hot chocolate with Remy Martin?) If you're looking for a hotel that is bang in the centre of Edinburgh, look elsewhere. This is in the beautiful area of Stockbridge, 20min walk or 5 min bus ride from Princes St. We'll stay here again. Loved it.

It was absolutely lovely! Very close to Edinburgh Waverley and some lovely restaurants. Calton Hill is right next door as well. The front desk staff was very helpful, and the room was plush and clean. We wish we could stay longer!

I have never stayed at this hotel before and I will 100% be returning. Super clean, fantastic finish and the bed sheets were so soft! Couldn’t fault a single thing. We stayed on a Saturday night (on floor 9) and you could hear a tiny bit of noise from local streets but did not disturb our sleep one bit. All staff were super friendly too. Fab location too. Thank you so much.

Well located hotel right in the royal mile. Has its own parking which is easy to find and discounted for hotel guests. Friendly staff and comfortable rooms.

Adored the lady that checked us in, who assisted us at a later point throughout our stay. The hotel was lovely, clean and warm. The swimming pool was a little cold at first but not too much of a problem. The room was lovely and spacious. The breakfast was phenomenal, with a continental bar to help yourself to. I highly recommend the eggs benedict! A slight issue with a female member of staff on the hotel bar on our second time in there who had rudely stated that our first time wasn't paid for,...

Great hotel perfect location staff really attentive and so polite. Breakfast was lovely great choice and freshly prepared. The bed was so comfortable and nice pillows too. I would really recommend a stay here.
