Castles in East Lothian

"Loved the uniqueness with it being a castle. Wish we were able to stay longer. The stairs were difficult to manage with our large suitcases. Not much you can do with it being an old building though. "

"My best friend and I got to experience what relatively few Americans will ever experience - sleeping in a real castle! What an experience! The grounds were beautiful, overlooking a flowing river and a gorgeous wooded area. The walk to the quaint town of Peebles was fabulous. Indeed, I can think of NOTHING of this one night experience for us that was amiss. We had the whole castle to ourselves. The accommodations were more than comfortable.
