It was absolutely lovely! Very close to Edinburgh Waverley and some lovely restaurants. Calton Hill is right next door as well. The front desk staff was very helpful, and the room was plush and clean. We wish we could stay longer!

Overall good experience! The hostel arranged fun activities offering everyone a chance to get to know one another. Lovely hosts/staff that were happy to help you, always. Fresh bathrooms, nice bedding and good sized pods.

We had a lovely warm welcome and the room and amenities were fantastic. The food was good in the hotel, just a shame the bar wasn't open separately. However the room was really comfortable and clean with nice coffee!

Adored the lady that checked us in, who assisted us at a later point throughout our stay. The hotel was lovely, clean and warm. The swimming pool was a little cold at first but not too much of a problem. The room was lovely and spacious. The breakfast was phenomenal, with a continental bar to help yourself to. I highly recommend the eggs benedict! A slight issue with a female member of staff on the hotel bar on our second time in there who had rudely stated that our first time wasn't paid for,...

Right next door to EICC

Beautiful hotel and room. Amazing stay. Highly recommended

The property was very clean, and modern. It was within walking distance of St Andrews Quarter and the city centre. Staff were very helpful and polite.

Excellent location for theatre visit. Quiet comfortable room perfect for overnight. Nice Public areas. Very clean. Friendly staff and felt safe for female travellers.

A well located modern hotel across the road from the main train station. We asked for a view and our room was overlooking the main street, which was really nice. Comfy bed, super clean and zero noise from outside due to secondary double glazing. The hotel use papercups in rooms for tea and coffee, which does not feel eco friendly as they are disposed after each use. Staff are very friendly and the bar area is modern and well used. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Value, comfort, location, big rooms, friendly host, Highly Recommended!

Perfect in all aspects cannot ask for more , beautiful location clean amenities also unexpected clean towels . Personnel competent and super helpful, we will defo go back!

As far as hostels go, this one was premier. The staff are fantastic, the bathrooms were kept immaculate and plenty of facilities. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious. I stayed in an 8 bed dorm and it was perfect from the view to the company. Theres a lounge area and breakfast has a great selection. Very central location and in walking distance from everything youd be doing in Edinburgh. I was extremely impressed. Thankyou kick ass hostels for a great base to recharge between...

We stayed in December, and the hotel was simply delightful. We have a deluxe room which comes with an ensuite shower room but in fact we made use of the shared bathroom next door which has a huge bath tub with very hot water. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. There is no flat-packed furniture, and everything suits the style of a Victorian townhouse. The bed had mattress comforters that made it very comfortable. I suffer from a bad back so it was really wonderful to find a hotel with a...

Had standard ensuite room, nice and spacious

A solid, budget friendly place to stay.

Great place, bar is a great vibe, the rooms are perfectly clean and so are the showers/toilets, staff are friendly and helpful

Great value for money for an Edinburgh stay. Convenient for city centre attractions, bus services especially for airport. Sad to see deterioration of state of surrounding area, dirty, litter but that's not the fault of Cityroomz. Happening all over UK as Tory national government cuts local budgets. Scotland needs independence

Great Place to stay.
