"What a wonderful weekend spent in this beautiful lodge in the norfolk broads . The pictures do not do this place justice it is beautifully furnished and decorated and so comfortable. We came for two nights with my friends and parents and had lovely relaxing evenings sitting round fireplace playing board games. I arranged a boat trip with the host Andrew for the saturday in the cruiser boat for 4 hours which was worth every penny it was pouring with rain but didnt spoil our fun we enjoyed seeing...

"The property was ideally situated close to the harbour and all amenities, and proved an excellent base for a 4 night stay. It was very clean and comfortable and our host, Pauline was next door if we needed anything (we didn’t). We used the Coasthopper bus to Brancaster Staithe and walked back (almost 12 miles) - have done the other direction to Blakeney and Cley before but weather was uncertain so took the car. "its a small cottage but with everything one needs, and a lovely small outside table and chairs - ideal when the weather is good. Stiffkey is a nice village with an excellent shop and is close to the Norfolk coast path and the bus stop for the excellent Coast Hopper bus service"

The extra room for washing/drying etc was brilliant and didn't have a problem with the walk in shower although small it was functional. my only critic but on a personal level was the beds seemed very soft. When we arrived we were not aware that the local pub was closed for refurbishment which was a shame as we wished to walk around the village rather than having to drive at night.
