"We were so pleased to finally stay at the Windmill we’d first seen on Villages by the Sea and again from the North Norfolk Railway. It’s a remarkable building, and you can really appreciate how much care and investment must go into maintaining it. We received a warm welcome on arrival and were very well looked after at breakfast each morning. Sadly, our stay didn’t coincide with any of the evenings when dinner is served, but the village has several good alternatives in the village (limited selection on Mondays). We had a great view, especially when a thunderstorm passed over. The Windmill proved a perfect base for exploring North Norfolk. Our ground‑floor room was comfortable, though not always fully private, as a couple of passing walkers stopped to look in through the window. Parking was also a little tight when we arrived, with only one space left, though this isn’t something the Windmill controls. Overall, a memorable and unique place to stay, full of character and charm."

"We had a lovely time at the Pheasant Hotel, the staff were very hard working, could not do any more to make our stay relaxing, happy smiling staff, the hotel was on a country lane so very quite, food was delicious ,room was good, quiet, view was just of the grass bank, but we were only in the room to sleep. In a good position to explore all of the coast line, which was just beautiful .We would happily go back to this hotel."

"Garden Suite was lovely and beautiful bathroom (with TV screen set in the tiles!) Lovely quality breakfast. Allowed to leave dog in room, but not to take him into breakfast which was understandable. Our dog kicked off barking and we couldn't leave him. Massive thanks to Caroline in the dining room as she accomodated as seperately in a room overlooking the gardens so we could bring our dog with us into breakfast!"

"Good parking area. The room was lovely, spacious and clean. The staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough. We requested an early check-in so we could change before going to a wedding and they were thankfully able to accommodate. The gardens are lovely to sit in if the weather is good and the bar has plenty of areas to sit with a cosy snug area. The breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice. Will definitely stay here again."
