"Lovely quaint walk through several levels of walkways and beautuful traditional cottages. Tucked away surrounded by cottage gardens. Like stepping back in time. Beautiful weather surprisingly. Lovely friendly people. Shops and places to eat and drink , within 5 mins through the street's. Very steep hill and steps add to rhe charm of the winding roads down to the bay front. Photographers heaven. 4th time here over the years with small changes to eateries. "

"Amazing little hideaway, great use of space, easy enough to find, dog friendly pub up the road that does excellent food, bus stop also up the road with easy access to Whitby, Robin hoods bay and Scarborough, definitely recommend."

"Black Bull Cottage was perfect for our trip to Whitby. Only 10 minutes drive out and great value for money. It was very cosy and had everything we could need. The welcome hamper was appreciated with a bottle of wine, breadsticks and cookies. There was parking right outside and next door to a pub that served really nice food. It was a quiet, warm and relaxing place and the bed was very comfortable. I'd recommend for a winter break :-)"
