"We stayed for two nights to look round Bristol city center and to see a show at the Hippodrome theater the locations suited us well and easy walking distance to the Hippodrome. The room was clean and quiet with a very roomy bathroom with fitted shower, large bed that was very comfortable,there was also air conditioning very welcome as we visited during a heatwave, there was also a safe located in the wardrobe. we did not eat at the hotel, it was conveniently next to Cabot Circus. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was included in the price saving us £20 per day stay. We will use this Hotel again when we return to watch another show. "

"The Gainsborough has a beautiful spa area and is very centrally and conveniently located in downtown Bath. The hotel stocks all rooms with soft drinks and water in the mini fridge (a nice touch), and the breakfast offerings are excellent, including both a continental buffet with a cooked to order option. The bar area of the hotel is small and was not well stocked during our visit. Also, some of the staff seemed new and unfamiliar (although polite) with the property, but the concierge as well as the front desk manager, Howard, were wonderful, and made what was a good stay into a great stay. The concierge's restaurant and tour recommendations were wonderful, and the front desk manager assisted our party of four with an issue we encountered with a rude and arrogant guest. The professionalism he demonstrated in handling the situation was commendable. We will be back. "

"Landed just before midnight and was relaxing in a beautiful spacious room, divine bed, and total silence. Slept perfectly until 7am when I had a refreshing shower, delicious breakfast, and was picked up by my taxi. I was at home in central Bristol to give my disabled breakfast after my first respite break after 9 months of 24/7 caring for my husband. There couldn’t have been a better end to a most wonderful relaxing time in Italy, thank you. "
