Such a great hotel. Safe and child friendly. The staff are always friendly, helpful and ensure the stay is to a high standard.

My only complaint is - I had to pay to park @ the hotel, that’s ridiculous. If you stay the night in the hotel your parking should be included

Easy access into city by car or public transport. I have mobility issues and the ground floor room was excellent, the car park was good plenty of spaces also local restaurants gave you choices to go to,overall the staff were excellent hotel was great would definitely go back again abig thank you to everyone who made our stay enjoyable 😉

We used the hotel as a base whilst I underwent some tests and procedures at the Royal Victoria infirmary. The staff could not have been more helpful and all in all the quality of our stay was exceptional. The bedrooms are understated but well-equipped. I stayed at jam jar for a brief period, but I’m sure I’ll be using the rooms sooner rather than later again. Excellent and well maintained. Staff very friendly and food is great at the bar below. Highly recommend

We only stayed 1 night for an open day at the nearby university but couldn’t fault them and if our son gets into this chosen uni we will definitely be using this hotel to stay for visits. The staff were very friendly and accommodating

Lovely room (room 4), but needs a mirror over the chest of drawers so that you can use a hairdryer, as there is no mirror and plug together in that room. A coat hook on the back of the bathroom door and also a shelf in there would be useful. Always a pleasure to stay at this lovely hotel.

The lady receptionists was rude when i booked in when my colleagues had already booked in the day before and spoken with Micky to confirm when i arrived to meet with my friends the women said that nothing is had been arranged When we spoke with Micky who was very professional sorted it out Thanks for Micky our stay was wonderful

Lovely room and bed very comfortable. I hadn't realised there was a pool so can't comment on that but it looked very clean and quiet. Very close to metro centre so ideal if that's what you are there for. Taxi to Quayside cost around £14 one way

Upon arrival, we were greeted by Millie, the friendly house cat. David was very welcoming, and the house & grounds were beautiful. The room and bathroom were both spotless, I've never been to a cleaner hotel. Everything you could need was provided, and we had a quiet sleep. If you have dry skin issues (dermatitis, eczema etc.) like myself, you might wish to bring your own toiletries as the ones provided were quite drying.

I have stayed in a number of hotels in Newcastle and this was the best stay. The room was spacious with a well equipped mini kitchen and we had prepared 2 good evening meals there. The bed was so comfortable and the location made the hotel quiet which is a change to the noise and sirens throughout the night in my other stays! We only needed a one night stay, but we were made to feel very welcome by the friendly and very helpful staff. I make the Hotel staff down to 4 because of one manager who insisted on making the receptionist check us out when it would have been easier and quicker for him to do it. However the receptionist at check out was wonderful.
