It was built in the early 12th century, and was altered in the 13th century when a structure was vaulted and buttresses added. It was probably used by both the nuns and the people of Haddington. In the 17th century, it became a Protestant place of worship but eventually fell into decay. Didnt get to sleep till 3.30am. Which wasn't ideal as we had a long drive up to the highlands. And felt shattered in the morning.
