Lovely accommodation and very good service

A great weekend away for my husbands birthday. The hotel is easy to find. Staff, through all levels, were very professional, courteous and made you feel very welcome. Our room was spotless but next time we stay we will probably pay extra so we can try one of the suites. Food was to a very high standard. All in all many thanks to the hotel and staff for making our weekend away an enjoyable one. Christine and Martin

Stunning castle, with all the services (swimming pool, gym, soft play) included! Plus you can go on horse riding, excluded for the services but worth a visit. kids loved it and for grown up so peaceful.

Our stay at the hotel was amazing! Our favourite part was using the steam room, sauna and pool! All the staff were extremely helpful, kind and friendly which was so amazing! The breakfast was great with a good varied selection which was very much enjoyed! I will definitely be staying again!

We stayed here to celebrate my husbands special birthday. From the moment we drove up and saw the impressive ship we knew we were in for a special treat. Everything about this place is incredible. I can't fault the hotel, the staff, the bar, the food or the price. Staff were young but knowledgable. Food was simple but delicious. The bar had inventive twists on drinks (Negronis with port replacing Martini Rosso? A hot chocolate with Remy Martin?) If you're looking for a hotel that is bang in the centre of Edinburgh, look elsewhere. This is in the beautiful area of Stockbridge, 20min walk or 5 min bus ride from Princes St. We'll stay here again. Loved it.

Booked as a last minute shopping trip accommodation and what a pleasant surprise, hotel was lovely and every member of staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect, we went for a special menu at night and had a fantastic meal , Will certainly go back

Check-in was slow and uninformative but every other aspect of our stay was fantastic

Am amazing hotel staff absolutely fantastic. Room was large as was the bathroom. Fantastic view of the garden. Free tea and coffee all day. Breakfast was good. Bus stop just outside the hotel to get into Edinburgh city centre.

Elevated to good by the friendly and helpful staff. Booking in worker, Lee, particularly pleasant and helpful. Clean, well staffed and reasonably priced. Recommend !

It was absolutely lovely! Very close to Edinburgh Waverley and some lovely restaurants. Calton Hill is right next door as well. The front desk staff was very helpful, and the room was plush and clean. We wish we could stay longer!
