Ravelston House
8/10 Good
"No reception desk so had to wander about until we got key from behind the bar which doubles up as reception. On leaving you put your key in a box outside the bedrooms and you don't aee anyone. Check out is 10am which is very unusual. Food was good. Quiz night (Thursday) noisy until 11pm."
Melville Castle

"Our stay at Melville Castle was everything I’d hoped for and more. We felt in awe and humbled by its grandeur and history. Strolling around the beautiful grounds added to the experience. This was a stay we will never forget."

"We stayed for 1 night in September 2026. The hotel was exceptionallyl well-run, with personal, friendly, and cheerful service. Be aware there is no lift.Wonderful breakfast with great variety, catering to specific dietary needs. Would definitely stay again if in the area. A real gem!"

"Amazing place, wonderful staff. Don’t eat in the dungeon restaurant unless you are prepared to spend over 3 hours and 120 pounds each sampling very weird and unpalatable food. We had to leave half way through to get my diabetic daughter some actual food. The manager sent a tray to our room. Otherwise a wonderful place to stay."

Beach Chalet With Panoramic Views

"Cute chalet right opposite Belhaven beach. Parking was a bit tight right next to chalet so I parked in the car park opposite as Alice provided a parking permit.Chalet was cosy. Very well equipped kitchen. My daughter and I stayed we found the beds quite hard so sleep wasnt the best. Lovely and quiet though."
