Excellent hotel, return stay after a brilliant holiday last year. Hotel has all that you need, staff , entertainment, food and amenities brilliant.

Lovely small boutique hotel with roof terrace.

It should be mentioned,however, that when arriving at this hotel travellers with suitcases request their transport/taxis to go to the rear entrance/fire exit to avoid the 59 steps that take you to the front entrance / reception. The steps are quite manageable once you have no suitcases to lug up with you.

Would be good to have tea and coffee in the room and for the cafe to stay open longer. A pity they swapped us from an exterior room to an interior one with less character. Bed could be firmer but super large. Fabulous breakfast, perfect location and beautifully furnished room+ building

We loved our stay. Clean, lovely pools, kids enjoyed the slides, arcade and activities. Food was lovely and enjoyed that we could walk to the beach and then up to the town I would highly recommend

La Aldea Suites is in San Nicolas, a low key and simple town, but with a mountainous backdrop that is peaceful and very scenic. Great medium sized quiet newish hotel located just above a small coastal village far away from the noise and bustle of the south of the island. A good place to explore the island from, whether by car or on foot. The rooms are clean well appointed and large compared to other hotels. A good Buffet breakfast with plenty of variety was available. Exception hotel and grounds. Immaculately clean. Given time of year, Christmas, staff very professional and friendly. Only complaint I had was with security at the lighthouse end. Not consistent with their approach. Felt we were targeted while others walked through no questions asked. Would recommend this hotel

I have 2 daughters 15 & 12 and we stayed at the hotel this Easter. From the moment our booking was made until the moment we left we were made to feel welcome and were looked after excellently. The staff were friendly and attentive from the reception desk staff, to the bar staff and the chamber maids - always smiling. All fine generally . Only thing was when filling cappuccino, it overflowed because a larger cup was needed which were not available much. Otherwise all fine.

Lovely hotel in the older part of Las Palmas. Room was midern and clean. Hotel staff excellent. Surrounding area had plenty of really good restaurants to chosse from. Bar on the roof of hotel was good and reasonably priced. Gad a great four days.

The hotel work force is very efficient and work hard to make your stay worthwhile even though we have spent more time at the beach than by the hotel pools. The downside - smoking allowed by the pools and sitting/eating places. Very unpleasant.

The hotel is huge and takes a bit of getting used to to get around it but the staff cannot do enough to help, whether in the restaurant or house keeping. It is situated across the road from the beach, and the promenade walk to nearby Maspalomas is lovely. Breakfast offers a great selection of food, all tastes catered for.
