Guayadeque Canyon Luxury Holidays

A wonderful, traditional venue set in amazing grounds surrounded by banana trees. The dining area is obviously the original stables and I could imagine the cows and horses eating and drinking there, back in the day. A superb ' get away from it all' hacienda which is a short drive to Arucas or 5 euros in a taxi.

Great room that opened out into a smaller pool garden. Breakfast was okay but lunch and dinner buffets weren’t upto much. But we loved the cocktails at the pool bar. Second time at the hotel but first time all inclusive. Great location!

Property itself was nice. Staff and visitors…not so much.

A nice hotel but rated as ‘okay’ overall for the following reasons; 1. before we travelled I tried to contact the hotel via this app and email about a travel cot but had zero acknowledgment or response. 2. When we checked in, we were given directions to our room but no offer to help with luggage even though we were loaded with bags and a baby/pram, and ended up getting lost initially. 3. Food tasted mediocre at best - a lot of options, but food plaques were sometimes missing or mixed on things which contained meat/fish. 4. Asking some bar staff to pour milk for my baby in a bottle felt like I was offending them when asking at times. 5. Entertainment (including the children’s disco) was good but we felt that it was a bit late starting for the young children. 6. We had mould on the ceiling next to our air conditioning unit Not a bad hotel by a long shot and most of the staff were very friendly (especially the staff in the food hall), and the location was great, but definitely room for improvement.

It was good.

It is a lovely hotel, and you are treated so well. The only minor things are that the Unique Pool does not have enough sunbeds, and sometimes the tea and coffee were not refreshed.

Clean and good amenities

The room was really spacious and nice. Air con was good. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Food was good and reasonable. Overall really nice. My only issue is I had late nights because of work and if you are facing the pool with the stage there is entertainment that starts at 11am which woke me up. Otherwise a good hotel for families

Air con doesn't work proper staff unfriendly and back home with scabies as sofa/beds are not desinfected proper after previous guests

We did Half board which was a good choice. Lots of variety for everyone. Nice swimming pools and plenty of sunbeds. Would recommend
