Lovely hotel with big bedrooms and excellent pool area. Staff on reception not very welcoming or informative.
Restaurant had excellent food but lots of mistakes with orders and charging. Mistakes were put down to new staff who didn’t understand. One lady was actually given a dinner and then later told she had eaten somebody else’s meal. Faulty Towers sprung to mind. Every time you ordered a drink with your meal you had to stop and pay as it came from the bar downstairs!!!
Must clarify that once you got your food it was excellent.
Feel it lacked professionalism for a 4* hotel.
It would definitely benefit from an intensive training session for all staff.

The hotel was lovely, warm and welcoming, the Komenno peninsula is beautiful and we loved that wherever you are in the hotel there are beautiful views. Food and drink at the beach bar and à la carte restaurants was amazing (though expect to pay high prices if not on all inclusive). The sister hotel Imperial is easy to walk to and has some lovely restaurants, views and seating areas to explore also. Staff very nice and helpful, they helped us book a private boat tour which was great and we also made use of the free shuttle service they offer to Corfu Town. There are lots of steps and hills on the grounds so maybe not suitable for anyone with accessibility challenges.
A few minor things which would have made our trip even more amazing:
- milk and coffee in our room wasn’t topped up so could only have coffee in room one day
- one night we ate at the sister hotel restaurant and when we checked out our half board allocation hadn’t been deducted from the bill, but luckily we had allowed plenty of time for check out process
- the buffet was generally good, although sometimes a bit chaotic getting sat down and ordering a drink. On one evening there were some empty dishes or dry food where the buffet had not been topped up in time.

The staff were super friendly and welcoming and there were great amenities, but there were general maintenance issues which let the 5* rating down e.g., air con unit and room phone were faulty when we arrived and there were chunks of glass/breakages on some of the furniture in our room (coffee table and kitchen cabinet drawers). Overall service in the restaurants was good but on some occasions we had to follow up with the staff on the whereabouts of our food and drinks after waiting a fair while. Whilst the hotel app was useful for accessing some information, it wasn't great in terms of getting a response from staff when requesting services or making reservations as per instructions from reception. It would be nice not to have to rely on technology on holiday especially when the main purpose of the holiday is to disconnect from technology.

We stayed at the Marbella Collection for 6 days with our two young daughters and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the whole experience felt effortless and when you’re travelling with little ones, that means everything.
The location is stunning, the beach and pools were the highlight of each day for the girls and felt safe and manageable for families. The food was a real highlight too; great quality and variety throughout, the dining experience genuinely added to the holiday.
What really set this apart was how family-friendly it felt without being exclusively a “kids’ hotel.” Our daughters were catered for brilliantly while my husband and I still felt like we were having a proper holiday. The rooms were spacious and comfortable for a family of four, and the staff were consistently warm and attentive throughout.
A special mention to two team members who truly stood out. Lydia at reception was warm, kind and genuinely welcoming from the very first interaction and went above and beyond to help make my husband’s birthday special — doing so with such grace it felt truly personal. Aurora was equally brilliant; so patient and kind in answering all my questions about the resort. These two are a real credit to the Marbella Collection.
An easy five stars. Highly recommended
