"Wonderful and Convenient!"
It is a lovely experience! If you are thinking that you are checking into the Hilton Garden Inn, this isn't it. It is an authentic room with a bed(s), TV, Chair lights and a large closet and sufficient bathroom. This room is not for someone who intends to go to Glasgow and sit inside their room for hours on end...it is a place to sleep, relax, and go down onto the first floor for some great pub food (the mac and cheese with Haggis is wonderful!). I would do it again in a heartbeat!

"Great Guest House in the West End"
Lovely stay. Warm welcome and due to a problem with the window in my booked room (which was a single room with shared bathroom) I was upgraded to a double en suite. The whole place is warm and spotless in a typically impressive Victorian Glasgow home. The Guest House overlooks the very picturesque Kelvin River, right in middle of the West End which always has plenty to offer, yet the place is silent at night. Slept wonderfully and the breakfast was great (including soya/almond milk and loads of gluten free options). Would happily recommend.

Very comfortable room, although the noise of the air conditioning unit (I think) outside the window was a bit irritating, lovely staff, ideal location. We will definitely stay there again next time we are in Glasgow, but next time we will ask for a room which looks out onto the square rather than onto the courtyard. The only thing that lets it down is the rather average breakfast - I ordered scrambled eggs and smoked salmon, the eggs (tasteless and watery) had been sitting on the hot counter for quite a while, then ladled onto the plate with the salmon and left there to chill nicely until one of the waitresses got round to bringing me the plate. the salmon was too salty, not very tender and heavily smoked - overall, not very nice. My husband was disappointed with the sausages, which looked very inviting but he said had very little flavour.

"Helpful staff, generous manager, good location"
We stayed 5 nights at the hotel, the last short because of a very early flight. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Because of no breakfast on the last morning, I asked if a friend staying nearby with no breakfast could join us one morning. The manager, Azam, said my friend could come each of the 3 remaining mornings! She came 2 of the 3 and enjoyed a free breakfast. Soft drinks were offered and we found a package of grapes in our room the evening before we left. Very nice!

"Charming hotel"
Great staff and location very close to the train. Wonderful breakfast. Very clean and spacious room. Only downside was the bed was a little hard and the T.V. is small for its distance to the bed.

"Great location for Central Scotland"
Wonderful staff. The rooms are actually spread out in different buildings, and all have some strengths and weaknesses. Stayed in a double twin room which is showing some wear, but I was more disappointed in the tea service set not being very clean - I am pretty sure the staff "washes" the dishes in the room sink, rather than taking them to the dishwasher. Had to re-wash before I would use them. The other room was a single double above the restaurant. The noise of a Saturday night wedding reception was loud, but not too annoying, and I had been warned. The room was much nicer than the first room.
