Just needing a comfy bed overnight in central Glasgow, with breakfast included. It is a very 'compact' hotel. Reception area small, rooms are small and ensuite is really small. Reception are was packed and noisy when I arrived- a very large family group were staying and had filled the reception space. ...
I very much enjoyed staying at the Apex City of Glasgow Hotel which is a relatively new establishment in a largely heritage precinct. When I arrived I was given an upgrade to a generous light-filled and comfortable room, and everything worked perfectly. The staff were terrific - friendly, helpful ...
my room wasn't cleaned until after 3 no shower soap, we would like another luggage rack.. otherwise all good best breakfast ever.. front desk amazing ..I love them
No amenities like A.C. or cable. Our room faced into the train station which left a great view but noise all night. Mostly worth it for the cheap rate, central location, and free (okay) WiFi.
The hotel was very clean and the staff friendly. Our room faced onto the train tracks of Central Station, but the windows were pretty well sound-proofed and I wasn't disturbed overnight (I also used earplugs). A very nice experience overall, especially because of the convenient location.
