"Lovely hotel "
We were lucky to get a last minute deal the day of checking in. Set in gorgeous grounds in an accessible location. Rooms were fabulous as were the changing rooms, swimming pool and spa facilities. Staff were very friendly and helpful the only downside was opening times for the pool and restaurant (especially as we arrived late and ended up having a ham sandwich that cost £12). I would definitely stay again but for longer in order to get my money's worth from the facilities. The icing on the cake is that dogs were allowed in the rooms also.

"Good central location."
Beautiful room though highly priced as rate of £165 did not include breakfast. Room was not fully stocked with toiletries which needed to be requested, although they were brought really quickly. Upon checkout a charge was being made for a minibar which had not been used and which was also not completely full. Disappointing that there was no spa facilities available as advertised as this had been one of the reasons for choosing this hotel.

"Good wedding venue - golf course could be better"
Stayed for two nights for family wedding. Paid for basic room which was huge with double doors leading to wardrobe dressing area and large bathroom with bath and separate shower which had great pressure. Have given the room only four stars as no in-room safe , no mini-bar/fridge and no bottled water. I know the area's water is safe to drink but, like all hotels, know this comes from a tank! Also there is no air conditioning - just central heating by radiators and opening windows for ventilation. We found it very warm, but not stuffy due to ability to open the windows - but that led to noise drifting up from the motorway beyond. The public areas and function room for the wedding were all very nice and the staff could not have been more friendly or attentive! Had a round of golf the day before the wedding and found the course quite soggy with some greens in poor condition. (The pro-shop said this was due to the exceptionally wet summer). Happy enough as we only paid £13.50 pp for the 18 holes. Must add the buffet Scottish Breakfast was excellent - great choice, delicious and fresh - all my fellow diners agreed!

"Good central location"
Good central location, near to Charring Cross railway station and multi level car park. Good motorway access. Hugh building site to the rear of the hotel but stay was unaffected by noise or traffic. Didn't have the breakfast but staff were helpful and courteous. Room was clean and facilities appropriate to price. Would recommend for short break.
