"Great Hotel! Close to several great Restaurants!"
Walking into the hotel we were greeted by a friendly and welcoming member of staff behind the reception desk. Check in was quick and easy and the receptionist seemed genuinely happy to help. The room was clean and comfortable, with great decor and all of the necessary facilities. I would definitely recommend the Lorne hotel and I will definitely be returning.

"Pleasant stay overall"
Used this hotel as a base for a 2 week visit to the UK. Overall, it felt like our home away from home. The staff was friendly and helpful. Only drawback was the wi-fi was truly hit and miss. It was out completely for an entire weekend. And out, off and on, many other times. There is a lobby computer that I was able to use, but it was not behaving quite right either. When I notified the front desk of the lobby computer issues, they were helpful by printing my boarding passes from their computer. I was relying on the internet to make our day to day travel plans, so we often went to a nearby restaurant to use wi-fi to research our points of interest. As Americans, our phone did not work in the UK, so our wi-fi connections were very important to us. If they can get their wi-fi connections upgraded or fixed, I would highly recommend this hotel.

"Nice and quiet "
Really nice and quiet. Stayed here for a weekend only. The room was comfy, clean and had all the basic necessities including a decent hairdryer, kettle, teas/coffees etc. The bathroom sink tap was quite dodgy - the water wouldn't flow out properly and would make noises. Overall, highly recommended for a short stay.

"Hotel is 20' from downtown"
Very expensive for what you get. The hotel is 20' from the attractions in Glasgow. It should be less expensive.

"4 night stay in Glasgow "
Central location. Walk to all sights and venues within 25 minutes. Close to food, concent venues, historical sights. Hotel staff very helpful. Originally booked basic room. A little small for our liking but we're shown several upgrades by very friendly staff who sorted out all details hassle free . Paid extra for upgrades. Not overly noisy, even considering nearby construction, for those used Who enjoy urban environments. Nothing fancy but did the job just fine. Thank you to the very friendly and helpful staff
