"We’ve stayed once before, and that time there were no issues at all, it was lovely. This time, not so much. Upon arrival we were checked in and offered a free ‘upgrade’ to a room further from the train tracks to allow for better sleep, which was kind, but the people in the room next door were loud (shouting and banging) so we had to call reception twice, midnight and 2am, to ask them to send someone up to have a word. The pipes/ something in the bathroom made dripping noises all night to the point of me fully worrying the toilet was overflowing. The room looked lovely, but one of the pillow cases had what looked like makeup stains and we found a fake eyelash under one of the pillow cases. I made reception well aware of this when we checked out and she seemed not to care one bit. Nice toiletries and a comfy bed, but we won’t be staying again any time soon. "

"Room was clean, but a little old feeling. The staff was great, there was an issue with the key cards when I arrived (they weren't working) , but the staff were vigilant in making sure that they were available to escort me to my room and let me in with the master key. Thankfully that only happened the first evening I was there. It also appeared that only one of the elevators was working. Despite being on a "high floor" (the 5th) the noise from the street could still be heard, which didn't bother me, but I could see how someone expecting quiet could be bothered by it. Overall a good stay, the hotel is located near shops, restaurants, and the Buchanan bus terminal. "
