Positive experience , nice breakfast , decor and staff very accommodating. Only gripe is family room is £90 and has two double beds , twin room is EXACTLY the same and is £55 and for a family of 2 adults n 2 kids it's very cramped with no floor space .

"Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow"
Great location but was noisy outside until late and then binmen were out working from 0500hrs. Double glazing and air conditioning would be of a great benefit to this hotel.

Very good hotel, staff very good, disappointed with evening meal curry, rice cold. And. Lumpy, sauce like paste , not fluid enough. My wife did enjoy her meal though, slight hicup in the kitchen

"Reasonable hotel close to town centre."
Every thing was OK, except high charges for car parking. Toiletries are very basic. The carpets could do with cleaning.

"Cool hotel!"
We loved the very modern but personal and welcoming touches that were included in our stay here. The mood lighting and technology in the room was fun, and the bed was very comfortable. Nice shower, comfy bed. The canteen downstairs fit our needs for dinner perfectly and we liked the design concepts evident in the whole hotel. Also, it was really easy to get to, and easy to get to the airport from it.

"Lovely hotel "
We were lucky to get a last minute deal the day of checking in. Set in gorgeous grounds in an accessible location. Rooms were fabulous as were the changing rooms, swimming pool and spa facilities. Staff were very friendly and helpful the only downside was opening times for the pool and restaurant (especially as we arrived late and ended up having a ham sandwich that cost £12). I would definitely stay again but for longer in order to get my money's worth from the facilities. The icing on the cake is that dogs were allowed in the rooms also.

"Smelly room"
The staff were friendly and the pool areas were nice. However I had never stayed in such a smelly room in my life. On arrival, I thought the room smelled of cigarettes mixed with something chemical. It was late so I didn't complain straight away- my mistake. Next morning, I mentioned it to the receptionist and he assured me that the hotel was non smoking so it could not be tobacco smell. He said he would send someone to check. That evening I came back to exactly the same smell and I was not happy to sleep there again. Even my clothes were starting to smell like it. I asked reception again and this time there was a lady working there. She went over to check and admitted there was something strange, do she plugged in an air freshener. This helped a bit, but it was still noticeable. For this reason, I am giving this hotel a 3. That room should not have been rented until it was properly cleaned

"Classy hotel in central Glasgow"
Great hotel except for a loud party downstairs Saturday night. We were on the second floor and heard a loud drumming from a party below us. Friends on the fourth floor also were kept awake until late by the noise. We were on the street side and the street is a bit noisy too. Other wise it is a very nice facility.
