"We use HomeAway because what you see is what you get, the location, the actual apartment, what it looks like inside, the view from the balcony. We take a long time choosing an apartment we like but on this occasion we didn't get to stay in it. A day before we were due to fly out Thomas phoned to ..."

"Staff ok, taking this Covid thing very seriously, cleaning continuously. Rooms ok, big enough. The worst ever hotel food wise. I’m not fussy, I eat everything. They should immediately sack the chef. I can do better cooking, and i can’t do a boil egg. Guys, it’s horrible; same food in the morning, ..."

New renovated hotel
"The hotel has been recently renovated thus everything is well maintained. Since The pool is only open until 6pm we could not take advantage of it as we usually arrived back to the hotel only past 6pm after touring around. It would be nice to have extended hours. Also some kind of blinds will be helpful ..."
"The breakfast options were really good. They had really nice pancakes and other dessert options. The views were amazing from my room and from the restaurant. From the restaurant you can see Mount Teide summit as long as the sky is clear. From the bedroom I could see other mountains, beautiful palm ..."

"Excellent customer service"

"Great place to stay, apartments are ideal with children as they combine self catering option with hotel amenities. The walk up the hill from town is tough, but the cafe/bar halfway up the steps is definitely worth a stop."

"Enjoyed the stay with the family! Great views of the ocean, easy access to the city by foot, spacious rooms, friendly staff, reasonable prices. On the flip side, there could've been more options for vegetarians for dinner."

"The breakfast options were really good. They had really nice pancakes and other dessert options. The views were amazing from my room and from the restaurant. From the restaurant you can see Mount Teide summit as long as the sky is clear. From the bedroom I could see other mountains, beautiful palm trees, the swimming pools, the sea, the main town. The hotel is at a high viewpoint which helps with the scenery. Although this makes the walk back from the main town a struggle up the hill, but the walk is definitely good. It takes about 15-20 mins to walk to town. They have a 5 to 6 free shuttles buses per weekday to Puerto de la Cruz. There's no free buses on Sunday and Saturday is a limited service.
The car park is small, and we'd get back too late for it. But I was always able to find street parking nearby in March. If you're hiring a car, this hotel is ideal as it is not in the main town, where parking is very limited.
The hotel has a very nice gym, tennis court, mini golf area. I was very impressed with the pool area. There are 4 pools and they are arranged nicely around nice trees.
The bathroom has 2 sinks which was handy for both of us. The balcony views were lovely. The beds were comfortable. The hotel room is a little old fashioned but there were still some modern elements such as the bathroom. The hotel is very clean.
I really liked the main lift as you can see it move up from the front of the hotel. The outside lighting was lovely. Overall I'd stay there again. "
"All staff I spoke to were really friendly and helpful. I really liked the pool area as it gets sun for a large part of the day unlike some of the other hotels in the area. You also have a magnificent view of Mount Teide from the sun loungers! There are nice views out towards the sea from the other side of the hotel which I enjoyed from my balcony. I was there in February and the hotel was busy but still did not feel crowded which I really appreciate as a solo traveller. There is free parking at the front of the hotel and an amazing little tapas restaurant (El Camino) only 2 minutes walk away (if you chose not to eat in the hotel). If you want a relaxing place but still close to the tourist attractions then I recommend El Tope."
"Great value for money! Beautiful accommodation - very aesthetically appealing. Service was amazing. All staff were so friendly, helpful and highly efficient. Roof top pop was beautiful with scenic views. Cocktails were also incredible and such a friendly barman. Buffet breakfast was really great quality and the location of the hotel was perfect with everything you need in short distance. 100% recommend and will definitely return. Thank you!"
