"This was terrific value for money and would happily stay again. While it's a good 15 mins or so up a hill from the station, for £40 or so, there's nothing at all to complain about- big rooms with cooking facilities, microwave and even a dishwasher should you need it, a lovely swimming pool and staff who were knowlegable and extremely helpful; particularly Guaytan , who couldn't have been more efficient and personable. "Room was quite small but very well equiped, everything worked and there was a bottle of chilled water in the fridge which was very much appreciated. Pool looked nice (didn't use it but several people did), not much in the way of a garden, small but well stocked bar. Restauarant was superb, really enjoyed our meal. Breakfast was very good, plenty of selection and good coffee from the machine. Hotel was very easy to find."

Absolutely fantastic 2-day stay in the Royal Suite at Le Château de La Seigne. It’s only a 10-minute drive from Carcassonne, and Ubers had no trouble picking us up right at the gate quickly. Just returned from a few days here - great little hotel, only 300m from La Cite de Carcassone's medieval walls. Really easy to get to and from as it is on the main road east out of Carcassonne (but it is extremely quite). Lovely hotel in an excellent location, just a short walk into the old town but also on a street with plenty of amenities of its own. Free parking nearby in the Place Barbicane which was easy to find and close to the hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and breakfast was lovely, lots of choice and local products. The hotel garden was beautiful, and a cute if very small roof terrace too from which you can get a view of the city walls.
