"The property was in a fairytale house in a magical location. All the little extra touches - such as bathrobes and slippers. daily complimentary water, chocolate etc - were truly the icing on the cake. The staff showed a real pride in working at the Castle and truly helped to set the atmosphere. Check-in and out were brilliant. The restaurant was superb with a jaw-dropping view of the Castle and sumptuous breakfast. If you think I seem enthusiastic it is because I am!"

We had the attic room -ok for us but not suited to tall guests or those where a tight, steep and winding staircase would be difficult. Very good breakfast delivered to the door . We would also recommend The Corner House restaurant."
