"We have been staying here for a few days for quite a few years. It’s a sentimental journey for me, as I spent the first 8 years of my life in Folkestone during the war, from 1939 - 47. The hotel is beautifully situated, with all rooms giving a sea view. Over the years it has been renovated, and brought up to date. The rooms are warm, welcoming, have clean comfortable beds, and constant hot water. But the staff are its biggest asset! Welcoming, helpful, friendly, and any request is fulfilled if at all possible. The lovely receptionist, Philippa, even ran out to guard a parking space, whilst hubby rushed to get the car! The whole place feels so welcoming, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else!"

"Absolutely loved the hotel experience & massage treatment. We could not fault it. Hotel staff were polite, professional & helpful. The one & only thing that was disappointing was the neglected condition of the swimming pool & jacuzzi facilities. Unfortunately the standards of this let down the high standards of the hotel & massage therapy facilities. Would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone & would stay again."

"Stayed here for 3 nights. Very convenient for Dover. Tesco is about 5 minute walk from the hotel.same distance for catching the bus into town. Check in was straight forward. You have to pay for the parking at the machine inside the lobby. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast, which is included, is very nice and plentiful. But if you are hungry for a fried egg, you are out luck. We had an evining meal here once. It was alright. We had a chicken escalope and Hunters chicken. The coated chicken was very crunchy to say the least. Wifi is very good at this hotel!! Will we come again?: of course. "
