"Had a 2 day stopover while working in Folkestone - a well located guest house with good parking, friendly staff and a very good breakfast. Couldn't get the wifi to work but for a such a short stay I wasn't too fussed. If ever in the area again then would be very happy to return."

"Room was clean, staff especially Sarah were very helpful. Full English breakfast available each morning. Downside was location right next to a busy road, parking is available but limited. Also the inn is in the process of being sold, so may not be available in the near future."

"Great staff that could not do enough for us, newly decorated room very good restaurant (but very busy) breakfast is amazing but it you do have to be a bit patient but it is very much worth the wait.
Parking is adequate but i would think if you turn up later in the evening you would struggle for space
Our second stay there and would do it again"

"Hotel was nice and comfortable overall. Breakfast was great! Only hiccup was that hotel rebooked us in a different room than I had booked without telling us, new room didn't have bed set up that we wanted."

The historic Royal Military Canal winds through this charming coastal town where you can take boat tours or fish along its peaceful banks. Wander the seafront promenade to spot France on clear days, then ride the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch miniature railway for coastal views.
The B&B is located a few minutes from Canterbury East train station and is also close to the centre of town.
The room was well-furnished with fresh water in a jug (with lemon!), kettle, TV and a hairdryer. All the nice touches added up!
The host, Terry, was very warm and a good conversationalist. He gave me a map when I arrived and explained how to get into town to start exploring.
There were also good options for breakfast.
10/10 - would stay again!

We had a comfortable and friendly stay at St Peter’s B&B. We were given a ground floor converted stable room which was well furnished, comfortable and clean. The ensuite shower was amazing. Both complimentary continental buffet breakfast and hot cooked breakfast of your choice was available. The location was in the centre of Sandwich, less than 5 minutes walk to the shops. The sea is a longer walk but there is no traditional seaside as such. However, Deal which is only 15 minutes drive is...

The bedroom was very clean and comfortable. The wide choices at breakfast were excellent. The only slight setback, in my opinion, was the lack of draught beer In the bar. I can't wait to return to this hotel and magical Rye.

Fabulous characterful farm house with a friendly welcome. Great facilities with guest lounge and easy parking. Very comfortable and spacious bedrooms. Rivals the best breakfast available in the country.

I was really pleased with the Ship, vand a couple of other reviews didn't do it credit at all, in fact I thought the reviewer must have stayed at a different place . It was a last minute business trip, one night stay and the price and location were really good. I had booked a deluxe double but my meeting was called forward by one day so I had to rebook through here and only a standard was available that night, that having been said the room was fine. Yes, it is a 16th Century Inn so the rooms...

We had a very enjoyable 3 night stay at Castle House. Very pleased with our room and the B&B's location. Would definitely recommend it.i If I would have any gripe - and it's just a small one - it is with the breakfast menu options eg basic breakfast cereals on offer , one type of milk, And the cooked breakfast was average.

Stayed in the Oak Room for one night - it has lovely views and the garden is beautiful. It is two rooms in the attic plus a private bathroom. There are low oak beams so take bumping you head as part of the charm and some narrow stairs.

Myself and my partner stayed here on Saturday 27th February.
The room was really nice, shame there was no WiFi.The picnic breakfast was great.
The pub - The Bull was also very good. Tom was very welcoming and we had a great day there watching the rugby.
Our evening meal was also very good, quality food and a great atmosphere.
A really nice country pub with great staff and customers, we will definitely come back.

What is the nightly rate for a Bed and Breakfast in Hythe?
Prices for B&Bs in Hythe often vary, but you can find a great deal from £56 with Expedia. All sorts of factors affect price, such as location and the time of year. It usually costs more to stay at Hythe B&Bs over the weekend too. Travelers can find the best deals by being flexible with their dates, and by using our filters to sort prices from low to high.
When is the best time to book a B&B in Hythe?
The most popular time to book a B&B in Hythe is during the summer months, particularly from June to August. This peak season draws visitors keen to take advantage of the warm weather, with plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities such as coastal walks, cycling, and exploring the picturesque beaches along the Kent coastline.
In July, you can expect vibrant local events and festivals, making it a lively month to immerse yourself in the community spirit. The pleasant temperatures, often reaching the high teens and low twenties Celsius, create a superb backdrop for enjoying Hythe’s charming historic sites and scenic coastal views.
If you’re looking for a more budget-friendly option, consider visiting in December. While the weather can be cooler (around 5 to 10 degrees Celsius), the festive atmosphere and fewer crowds allow for a peaceful escape. You can wander through the quaint streets adorned with Christmas lights, enjoy seasonal treats, and perhaps even indulge in some quiet time by the sea.
What is the difference between a Hythe Bed & Breakfast and a hotel?
Every Hythe B&B has its own unique feel. Whether it’s a cozy reading space or a sunlit breakfast nook to enjoy your morning cup of coffee, the quaint details are what make bed and breakfasts a home away from home. Travelers can look forward to personal touches, thoughtful amenities and of course a scrumptious breakfast at Hythe B&Bs.
