8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (904 reviews)
  • cleanliness
Coastal Victorian retreat enchants families with beachfront lodging, child-friendly spa policies, and easy access to Dover Castle.
"Overall it was a nice stay, however there was a strong smell of ozone in the corridors, the deluxe room was very good, the tv was large and it had a sound bar. The sofa was located in the corner of the room so didn’t sit on it, the bed was a very comfortable firm memory foam. In the morning there was no hot water which affected all the rooms. The breakfast was okay buffet but the positioning of the food was cramped, so there was a lot of jostling about to get food and get back to the table. "

Kid-friendly comfort meets castle adventures at this cosy bell inn offering breakfast, playground fun, and more.
"Stayed for one night prior to getting the Eurotunnel the following day. This is what I would call a country pub which is family friendly with large grounds for children to play. The rooms are all new with very modern fittings and found to be comfortable. Moderate size room, which is large enough for short stays. Good shower over a bath and whilst not a problem, the bath is very small and would have I preferred a walk-in shower. Had an evening meal and breakfast, both were well cooked and good...
