A really nice hotel. A short distance from the ferry port of Dover, making this hotel an ideal stopover for a ferry journey. Hotel has a restaurant, coffee bar and a bar serving drinks and bar food. Would definitely stay here again if an early morning ferry crossing was booked. Hotel staff are very pleasant and courteous. Check-in and check-out are very fast. Restaurant and bar were described thoroughly upon arrival. Air conditioning would have been a huge bonus as room was too hot. A fan was provided.

Lovely hotel near like amenities and great parking.

Very clean hotel. Stayed one night in a double standard room. Not very big room, however, perfectly adequate, lovely ensuite. Got up early so did not sample the breakfast. Would stay again.

The hotel was nice and the staff were lovely...Unfortunately we were on the top floor and there's no lift, so there were lots of stairs!!! Breakfast was fab, no complaints there, we only had breakfast at the hotel so can't say about the rest of the meals. One bad thing was that the hallway/stairs carpet up to our room was filthy & looked like it hadn't been hoovered in months!!!

Quick stopover to visit the Cathedral, restful oasis.

We had a two night stay in Canterbury in September and stayed at the abode. The hotel was in a great location in the centre of the town and was lovely though the bedroom was small. We had breakfast on the first morning which OK - not the best cooked breakfast but ok. However we had cream tea in the afternoon which was delicious The only thing which upset our stay a little was a busker who started playing outside the hotel at midnight on Saturday. We expected the hotel staff to move him on but they didn't until we complained.

We booked this hotel because we were visiting Sissinghurst and Great Dixter and it was within easy driving distance of both. Book in was no problem. Staff were very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable and well appointed. The food was a highlight. The bar and restaurant menu had a good range and our experience (we stayed two nights) was that it was consistently good quality. Breakfasts were also well cooked and provided a lot of choice. All in all a lovely stay and if we are ever in the area again we will definitely re book!

This hotel uses self service check in. The lady stood there as we arrived to the counter to do it was unfriendly and non-engaging, basically staring straight through is with out a smile. Not very welcoming! There were three of us and the first two checked in successfully. When the third person tried it kept getting to add your key card stage and then failing, we tried again. Eventually another woman came along and was a little officious treating us like fools, she said the room is not ready. It would have been easier if the screen told us this - especially as we were only 30 minutes ahead of check in time. The rest of the stay was very good, the meeting room was well presented and laid out, great food and beverages available in the package. The bedrooms were modern and clean with well appointed bathrooms. The food and service in the bar was excellent , with a great atmosphere.

The most adorable hotel by the water in the cutest seaside town. Walking distance to great local restaurants. Nice staff. Delicious breakfast. Cute, spacious rooms. Only drawback is no elevator but that is minor.
