Nice and walkable to the Cathedral. The shower has mildew growing between the shower tiles and around the exterior rim of the tub. There were spiders and a ton of cobwebs in the corners of the rooms. The carpet was dirty. The kitchen did not have enough plates for the number of beds offered. We did not use parking or the breakfast. The service was adequate, but we got locked out of the back door at 10am. I cannot praise this hotel highly enough! Just wish I could have stayed longer. The staff were kind & helpful, my room was spotless, warm & comfortable, the public areas were tastefully decorated, the grounds were beautiful & the buffet breakfast was delicious, with lots of choice. An excellent stay, right in the heart of Canterbury. The room was superb and the breakfast was very good. Lovely garden at the back and friendly staff. Building charming but needs TLC.
