"This is a lovely place with lots of character. We ate at the restaurant in the evening and the food was great then and the breakfast was also great the following morning. Sitting by the open fire after dinner was so nice, especially as it was rainy outside. Every member of staff we spoke too was very helpful and all around lovely. We arrived in the dark and there wasn’t much signage so it was a bit confusing making sure we were in the right place but it wasn’t too difficult to figure out. The grounds looked lovely the next day too. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. "

"Great Staff, nothing too much trouble. Clean and spacious room, Adequate breakfast and good selection for dinner. Only points were the shower was a bit tired and why charge £3.00 a day parking, either add it into the room cost or forget it altogether. If you want to charge non-residents, fair enough, but not staying guests!"
