They stayed in one of the junior suites which they loved, whilst the rest of us stayed in the lodges on site. We had 23 of us there and Jo in the events team was kind enough to sort us a private dining room for our evening meal which was perfect and also meant the kids could have a bit of space without disturbing anyone else. The hotel was great value for money and had some lovely features and decor. The staff were all very kind and helpful. The lodges were very spacious and had everything you would need for a short stay. A few of our group also had spa treatments and all loved their hot stone treatments and massages. Overall a great value break and a hidden gem of a venue, complimented by great staff. This was our 3rd visit to Millers Arms, the only fault this visit was our room was very small bed not very comfortable and I found the lighting in the room was a bit dark specially for getting ready & doing my makeup , although bathroom light was bright but mirror was very high up on the wall I couldn’t really use ! Otherwise thank you. Given the location almost all guests would have to have driven so it would be clearer to include the full costs in one hotel price than have hidden costs as soon as you arrive.
