The location is in the no-cars zone, plan ahead carefully if you drive. The building is very old, as is to be expected for the area, but well maintained. Easy walking to all attractions and lots of dining options.

Very overpriced for a pokey & worn room & very cramped overall-could barely get in the bathroom. Staff friendly but under-resourced - ie at times no one on reception,breakfast room or at the bar. Breakfast perfunctory offering & no service.

Loved Canterbury & the Pilgrim Hotel

The Pilgrim Hotel was an old, charming inn right near the River Stour, the Cathedral and the main walking district in Canterbury. We really enjoyed our stay there and the staff, Simona in particular, were wonderful!
