"The food was amazing each and every day! The staff are nice and attentive! The cocktails are fun and refreshing! We had the chance to attend the white party which was premium, fun and exciting! Entertainment at night s great and fun! Amenities are fantastic. There were a couple of issues with the room but were minor, front desk apologized by dropping a bottle of prosecco in the room. We celebrated a birthday during our stay, staff also dropped a tequila bottle in the room as a gift, they also decorated the room with ballons and fun animal figures made out of towels! Negatives: 1 golf cart is not enough to run people to the beach. Overall fantastic stay! Loved my time there"

"Resort is nice! Stuff are very nice and helpful! Family-friendly place. Pools are nice! Food is ok. I would really recommend to clean a rooms a bit more- doors, bath tub, floor in the bathroom, sink. Also- not a single show in a whole week! Karaokes- almost every day🙈. "

"2nd time to property. They expanded to twice the size without doubling the amenities, restaurants, pool access, etc. Three complaints: 1. Long Lines and difficult to get restaurant reservations. . . I spent too much time getting what was already agreed to and we did not get to choose which restaurants. 2. Upon arrival they tried to switch us to the Ventus Ha property--Our reservation was for Hotel Marina El Cid Spa and Beach resort. The reservations we paid for was supposed to be ocean and pool view and full access to restaurant reservations. UP CHARGED us to be at El Cid Hotel (I absolutely hate this. . . we had be in transit from home for over 10 hours. My wife and daughter were exhausted and the hotel staff held us hostage until we would pay ~$450 more for what we already reserved and pd for) No manager available that night to figure it out. 3. Tried to up sale us to their platinum club to provide what should have been provided with original reservation. Ultimately, Manuel, Manager, refunded just less than 1/2 of the original upcharge but he seemed to be powerless to do more. EXPEDIA fell down and the job and did not accept any responsibility or provide any real assistance. Their CS chat function ultimately failed and they did not follow up to make sure that things were right. The property was clean, most of the staff was really great and they worked so hard to make sure that things were clean and first class. Our room was comfortable and clean. "

"we stayed at Jungala Hotel, Great property, the rooms are spacious and clean, hotel has daily shows at the Mexican town, forgot what is called, the water park was awesome, our kids had a blast. Melani our concierge went above and beyond to make our stay superior, she really stand out and made the difference. Would definitely come back. "

"Room cleanliness and condition were exceptional. Restaurant quality and service was amazing. Breakfast and lunch buffet not my favorite, but better if you go early, food goes fast. Favorite area was the adult only pool area. Loved being connected to Xcaret Park, easy walk. The lush natural habitat and animals was what brought us to this resort, away from concrete Cancun. "

"Our experience at the hotel was very disappointing, especially considering the expectations we had before arrival. The initial room we received had a strong damp smell and did not feel clean or properly prepared. We had to go back and forth multiple times with the front desk to resolve the issue, and despite initially being told no rooms were available, another room was eventually found after insisting. The overall service was inconsistent. Staff offered assistance at times but did not follow through, and communication was unreliable throughout the stay. Even when trying to resolve the situation through Expedia, the hotel was unresponsive. This experience fell well below expectations, and unfortunately I would not recommend this property based on the level of service we received."

"This place completely ruined every other trip for me… in the best (and worst) way possible. I genuinely grieve leaving it. Nothing compares. The food? Unreal—every single bite was perfect. The staff? Beyond exceptional—so attentive, so warm, truly over the top in the best way. And the aesthetic and atmosphere? Absolutely stunning… it felt like a dream the entire time. I loved everything about this place and this trip. If I could relive it over and over again, I would without hesitation."
