"Expedia does what it says on the tin, cheaper than other sites including hotels own site Lovely junior suite and great breakfast Proper old style hotel Ate at the homestead (michellin green star) next door, very highly recommend Great walk down to spout after breakfast and a nice climb back up to justify the eggs benedict Recommend both"

"This is a lovely, spacious cottage on a property with several other holiday houses and the owner's place. It has a spacious garden and is very peaceful. Nice views of the surrounding fields and the owner's alpacas. It's a good location, near to Sandsend which has a great beach and nice cafes. It is a few minutes drive from the beach and though the distance is walkable the road is very narrow so I'd be nervous walking with young children."

"Lovely country hotel with large garden and free parking. Our room had a comfortable bed,fridge, fan and tv . The bathroom was clean with extra large towels. We ate at restaurant for 3 evenings. Menu had a good choice of meals and food was lovely. Restaurant was very busy so pre booking advised. We had a great breakfast each day with hot and cold selections. Bus stops outside to Whitby and Saltburn which was a bonus. Lovely hotel with wonderful staff and we would definately stay again"

"An amazing property, home from home everything you need. A welcome pack was left for us on arrival which was a really nice touch. The property was spotless the rooms were spacious and decorated to a very high standard. The property is in a great location with an amazing garden. The station is about a 10 mins walk from the property in the village where you can get a train to Whitby. We went for a meal in the Bridge Inn which was good. I would highly recommend this property the hosts were easy to contact."
