5/5 - Excellent
If you’re not going because you want to see the locations where Heartbeat and Harry Potter were filmed, probably best to avoid the summer as it can get very busy!!

Really friendly and helpful staff, good bar and lively restaurant. Plenty of parking, well-appointed, spotlessly clean room and good pillows!

Lovely quiet small village. Steam trains at station at the bottom of the road
Beautiful location
Very peaceful, we had excellent weather, called into 2 other places but were not as welcoming as staff at inn in moor
Lovely hidden location , very tranquil with sheep freely wondering on the Yorkshire Moors. Definitely will return to explore the area .
