"We stayed at Ashburton House for 3 nights. The Accommodation is beautifully presented with a spacious room with a large walk in shower which looked to have been recently refurbished. The room is clean and very comfortable with lovely decoration, a charming feel but with all the modern amenities. The beds are very comfortable and it was very quiet of a night. "A wonderful hidden gem B&B. Lovely welcome from Pascal and his personalised breakfasts with his famous sourdough bread are delicious. It’s the special little things that make you feel special, hime made cookies in the room, canapés and bubbles on arrival. Bottled water in the room as well as plenty of beverages and toiletries. Great location for the coast of the lovely market towns and return after a long day to a comfortable bed. "

"Nice B&B with very friendly staff. No on-site dining other than (very good) breakfast but several pubs within a very short stroll - 1 to 2 minutes and Yorkshire coast town Filey just 3 miles drive away. Also a very good distillery with excellent cafe on the edge of the village"

"Accommodation was clean bright and comfortable, continental breakfast was varied and fresh and we were supplied with more milk when requested. Only drawback is the flight of stair leading to the room which are quite steep and may be a problem with those who have difficulty with stairs."
