"Room was totally fine. Bed was comfy. Given tea and coffee. I brought my own little lamp as the only light is the main one. Toilets and shower are external and pretty run of the mill. Nice selection of beers and ales in the pub. Breakfast was nice"

"The lady on reception last night was lovely. Showed us round the facilities and to my room. Bedroom was clean and tidy. Was going for an operation so want able to do breakfast but I’d definitely book again and bring my girls. The hotel was a lovely old manor style house with all its features."

"Quaint bed and breakfast hotel with lots of interesting period features. Ideally located in centre of town with parking and access to the lovely garden. There were magazines, and games to use, toiletries and sweets in room, good quality towels and bedding and breakfast was plentiful with great choices. A wonderful place for a few days in Pickering"

Me and my partner Ross stayed at The Cornmill last saturday and we both had a pleasent experience, Karen is very welcoming & accomodating and all round a lovely person. The room we stayed in was immaculate aswell and to top it all off, breakfast was absolutely superb! It's a 10/10 from both of us, we would highly recommend and we do plan on coming back in the future. Thank you so much

Our host, Rebecca, is obviously passionate about the guest experience. The Cordelia is a magnificent period property full of charm and warmth. The room was amazing - being roomy and well presented with period furniture, quality bedding and towels. The breakfast was probably the best we've had, made with top quality ingredients. It took us a whole day of walking to work it off! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We were warmly welcomed like old friends by the wonderful owners, Jackie & John. We had high expectations given the positive reviews, & we were not disappointed. John gave us an overview of the history of the house which was a lovely touch. They are rightly proud of their beautiful property, which exudes class, quality & great attention to detail. The room was spacious with clean lines & classic decor, the most comfortable bed with sumptuous linens & a spacious en suite, again with quality...

My wife and myself stayed at the Miricia for the weekend and it was fantastic! The hotel was lovely and Joanne was friendly and welcoming. The room had a superb view and it was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding! The hotel is situated on the north side but it is only a ten minute walk across town to get to the south side of Scarborough. We would recommend the Miricia Hotel to all who are looking for somewhere to stay when visiting Scarborough

Prices for B&Bs in Egton often vary, but you can find a great deal from £33 with Expedia. All sorts of factors affect price, such as location and the time of year. It usually costs more to stay at Egton B&Bs over the weekend too. Travelers can find the best deals by being flexible with their dates, and by using our filters to sort prices from low to high.
When is the best time to book a Bed & Breakfast in Egton?
April is the most popular month to book a B&B in Egton, as it falls within the peak season from March to May. During this time, the charming village comes alive with visitors eager to explore its stunning landscapes and rich history. The temperate climate, with temperatures averaging around 10-15°C, makes it an ideal period for outdoor activities such as hiking and cycling through the picturesque North York Moors National Park.
As spring takes hold, you'll find vibrant wildflowers carpeting the fields and a sense of renewal in the air, great for leisurely strolls or more ambitious hikes. The nearby coastal areas are also accessible, offering scenic views and the chance to enjoy the fresh sea breeze.
If you're looking for a more budget-friendly option, consider visiting Egton in December. This quieter month allows you to experience the village's festive charm without the rush of peak tourist traffic. While temperatures can dip to around 3-5°C, the cozy ambiance of local pubs and the warmth of welcoming B&Bs provide a delightful retreat.
What is the difference between a Egton B&B and a hotel?
Every Egton B&B has its own unique feel. Whether it’s a cozy reading space or a sunlit breakfast nook to enjoy your morning cup of coffee, the quaint details are what make bed and breakfasts a home away from home. Travelers can look forward to personal touches, thoughtful amenities and of course a scrumptious breakfast at Egton B&Bs.
