Back entrance for night time could do with a little spruce up - a bit scruffy. Not ideal when staying alone - a bit dark. Overall a nice stay. Parking wasn't too bad. Good food and breakfast. The host James was very professional and happy to advise on the area . Close to the cliff lift to the spa, and we found the area nice for walking around Scarborough. The public transport links are close by , you can easily leave the car parked and enjoy a driving free break. We would fully recommend the waves for a short or longer break"

"We have just arrived back home from the most amazing stay at St Hilda's. We stayed in the Cairo room and the pictures do not do it justice it was just beautiful, the attention to detail is amazing. The bed was extremly comfy, we had such a lovely restful nights sleep. The room was absolutely spotless as well and has a really detailed information booklet with places to eat and drink, taxis and takeaways in it which was really handy. The lady that check us in was so friendly and made us feel really comfortable and was more than happy to answer any of our questions. The continental breakfast was really good, there were so many options to choose from and you can fill a tray and take it up to your room if you wanted to as well. We will definitely be back! Thanks for such an amazing nights getaway"
