"Property was a lovely cottage but think new mattress is required on one of the single beds as I could feel springs and bed was a bit shaky every time you turned over in the night , and the bed settee downstairs think that needs replacing as the person that slept on that could feel springs we had to put covers over it so it didn’t make it too uncomfortable for them there was underwear left in the wardrobe in the spare room but other than that all good"

"Loved all the different levels and rooms. The stairs were a good work out. Close to everything and everywhere we wanted to go to. Had everything we needed. All home comforts. Shower works well. Shower cubicle very snug. Sofa very low. Just needs sofa boards to stop the sofa from sinking too much. Would definitely recommend and stay again"

"We were allocated a very well maintained and decorated guest room which had an en-suite bathroom. The bathroom was impeccable and supplied with clean towels and toiletries. It was good to see that the shower had no mould or dirt in the corners which is often the case. We found the bed to be rather too small for two large adults and in future will ask for a larger bed. We found the mattress to be harder than we would have liked, but it was nevertheless comfortable. The breakfasts were magnificent. It seemed that nothing was off the menu if requested. Following each of our four breakfasts we set out each day completely satisfied. Parking is obviously an issue in that area as the only parking was on the street. The landlady issued us with a 4 day permit to display on the car. We were fortunate that we were able to find a parking space each evening. However; one can imagine that it not be so simple in the main holiday season. We found the staff to be welcoming and very helpful and would recommend this guest house to any of our friends."
