Sandman Signature Newcastle Hotel

Sandman Signature Newcastle Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Used your hotel as base camp for my 1st Great North Run, and I made a great choice. Walking distance from the start, close to the city centre, great if you’re going to watch the football, and walking distance from the station. (Would recommend a room not facing the football ground on a weekend as the bar linked to the ground plays it’s thumping music till midnight.) Bit pricey being the GNR weekend but where isn’t……gotta make the hay when the sun shines!!"

Leonardo Hotel Newcastle Quayside

Leonardo Hotel Newcastle Quayside

8/10 Good
"All staff very helpful and friendly. Overall clean and tidy. Room spacious but a couple of issues. Only one plug socket next to the bed and only three in total. The other two were not in convenient locations. No shaver socket which was a major surprise! The hotel does have very limited parking which I guess you have to book. The Baltic car park next door is very expensive and by the hour. Gateshead Quays multi-storey (very new and clean) is a minute walk uphill from the hotel."
