Fab hotel, great amenities, lovely staff. Would stay again

Stayed one night with my daughter after a full day on the road. Food was good, service was friendly and welcoming. Room was a good size, clean and comfortable. Ensuite was lovely. Hottest bank holiday weekend, it was stifling, what can you do? Well they had left bottles of water for guests and the room had a fridge, also electric fan in the room which was amazing!! I would definitely stay again!

Just the ease of driving up to the main entrance to check in and friendly staff making the process easy in the middle of the night.

Beautiful setting, excellent facilities and attentive and friends staff. Couldn't ask for more!

A warm welcome on our arrival and was checked in quickly and escorted to our room. Staff were terrific, dinner plentiful, warm ambience and fairly busy. The room is small but fine for one night and price. The only thing was the headboard in room 2 was flaking off. Such an easy fix but very visible when you first walk in - an impression that makes you think what else is wrong here. Also a couple of cleaning products left in room. Again, not a big deal, but careless. Would recommend to stay for a...

The Woolpack is simply the best Inn that I’ve stayed at. Gorgeous building (complete with ghost?). Staff that are genuinely friendly, a pub packed with locals that must be the friendliest in the Country. I was lucky to be there for Thursday night karaoke… honestly I’ve arranged my diary to be there on Thursdays. If you like an authentic pub, great food, superbly comfortable accommodation and a strong community spirit.. (and maybe a ghostly nun).. then this is the best place to stay!

Very welcoming hosts and very accomodating to matching my business schedule.

I don’t usually leave property reviews, and I tend to avoid places without a host check-in due to past bad experiences. However, I must say the check-in process was the easiest I’ve come across, clear instructions and codes made it seamless. The room was a delight and had everything I needed. I’ll definitely be using Urban again!

Restaurant and bars fantastic old England atmosphere. Restaurant food reasonable price and excellent. Shower and toilet a little cramped. Comfortable bed and good coffee, tea biscuits provided. Breakfast good with plenty of choice. Loads of character definitely worth a visit.

Highly recommend this above all others if staying in Long Melford. The two superb rooms are five star. We had a wonderful stay and a great breakfast.

The rooms ar very comfortable and very clean. The staff are vary amiable, breakfast was excellent. At the price I paid, I was delighted to stay here

This pub/hotel was way out in the Suffolk countryside and was a very comfortable room. Good views and peaceful surroundings. Breakfast was good also.

The hotel was fantastic for the price. Staff were all really helpful and polite. Breakfast was good. Beds were comfy. Couldn’t empty the bath as there was no plug release! Also the hairdryers need replacing. They are the old fashioned ones fixed into the drawer and it only worked for about 30 seconds before cutting out. Free and ample parking.

The room was very clean, very comfortable, with quality fittings. Comfortable bed, quality bedlinen, soft towels, helpful host - highly recommended.

We had nice stay one night. We had nice Valentin night and good breakfast. Thank you very much.

Stunning property, gorgeous & delightfully helpful owners ( Doug & Kay)& in a beautiful part of the country. Close to good restaurants, historical villages & towns. Just a perfect weekend retreat.

One of the most stunning hotels in the UK that I have ever stayed in. Impeccable service.
