"The property is in a quiet cul de sac of the village. Note there are street lights in the cul de sac but none in the village. You need a torch. The place was clean. Good sized bathroom. Well equipped kitchen especially if you want to cook for yourself. The cottage is an ideal base for visiting the area with many attractions a short drive away. "I can't say enough GREAT things about this hotel. The value for your money is incredible. Walking distance to bus and train station. We just rolled our bags the three blocks and entered a bright, cheerful lobby. The staff were ALL so friendly and helpful. The room and bed were comfortable with a strong stream shower to start each day. The morning breakfast buffet was AMAZING! What a spread! So many options. This is where to stay when you go to Bath."

"I stayed one night and selected the hotel based on its proximity to the train station. It was an excellent choice for that, although there is some road construction going on directly around it which made rolling one’s bag a little more difficult than it would normally be. The hotel is a little “tired” but very clean well maintained. Good bed and very decent bar/restaurant. Not a hotel I would recommend for exploring Bristol over several days; but a great location for ease of train travel. The staff was excellent. Very welcoming and very helpful."
