"We stayed here for 1 night 20/4 in room 4. We received a warm welcome from the young lady on reception. The room was clean & comfortable, if a little bit dark & small. I need to sleep with the window open & so could hear the busy road. Managed to sleep OK. We also put the air conditioner on, but it didn’t seem too powerful. We didn’t have breakfast as £17.95 per person is way too much for us. We also managed to get a parking space on an adjacent road, so didn’t pay the £10 parking charge. "

"More like a country house than an B & B. Large room with fantastic view. Very comfortable bed, comfy chairs to sit in and read. Teas, coffee and fresh bottle of water everyday and Kit Kats. Decent size shower room and sink. Room was cleaned everyday. Breakfast with a fairly wide choices, was excellent. All staff were friendly and helpful. Olaf was a great source of information and managed the property very well. Lovely gardens front and back. Only negative which we were warned about...

"The staff were wonderful. The room was a good size and was welcoming. It was a continental breakfast, which suited us, as we were able to get what we wanted and take it to the room to eat. The dinner was delicious and there was plenty of it. Because the hotel is not staffed overnight, they asked if we wanted fresh milk and organised a little bottle for us. They also gave me a large bottle of water, as I had not had time to buy one."
