Visit to Wells
"We chose this property because of its proximity to Wells which we hadn't visited before particularly its Cathedral and Bishop's Place Gardens .We were not disappointed. The cottage was in a perfect situation being only 3 miles from the city and was very well appointed with a lovely lay out and very clean, we could not have asked for more. We met Carol and were able to express or appreciation for everything. If you want a cottage to explore what is a beautiful area you could not ask for anything more, We would certainly stay again if around the area and Wells is a lovely city.
A holiday to remember.

"Booked this hotel after another hotel cancelled our booking. Check-In was fast and efficient and staff were friendly. Room was a good size and was very clean. Despite our room being at the front of the hotel overlooking the car park it was surprisingly quiet. The hotel could do with a lock of paint here and there but that’s a minor point. We were pleased that we found this hotel."
" The hotel is beautifully situated in the centre of Wells with a view of the cathedral. Our bedroom view, however, looked out on an alleyway with dustbins. I had hoped for something a little better, since I'd paid extra for a superior room.
Our room was very comfortable, but if I'd been shown a picture of it without being told where it was, I could possibly have guessed it was part of the Best Western chain, but not that it was in an historic coaching inn.
The staff were helpful, friendly and polite.

"A warm welcome greets you. Delicious home made cakes and selection of other nice things to eat from the tea rooms. Breakfast is full of local produce and yummy! Very clean, nice pub next door. Beautiful scenery and if you have river side then the beauty of waking up and sitting outside watching the wildlife with your morning cuppa is rare to find. This is a hidden gem. We had a great stay!
