I and 8 other friends met in Knoxville, TN to celebrate the visit of long-not-seen English friend who was visiting. Since one of the group was a gourmet chef, the Cook Loft was a natural choice. The spacious and well equipped kitchen was the center of interest as we sat and watched him prepare the 5 course dinner. After dinner we re-met in the large lounge area to talk away the rest of the evening. The two beautiful bedrooms served our honored guest and myself and our wives while several of the other participants used the fold out sofa beds to finish out the night. A breakfast at a french crepe shop two blocks away finished the get-together. With 3 theatres within 3 blocks and UT campus 5 minutes away by car, the Cook Loft is a wonderful place to base a visit to Knoxville.

Hotel staff members were extremely friendly and helpful, would definitely return again.
Location is conveniently close to shops and restaurants, easy to walk to places.
Room was very clean and had a nice view, overall very good experience!
Nice but older hotel. Good service, helpful friendly staff. No microwave or refrigerator in the room. A little confusing to get to due to the fact that it's located close to the convergence of several main thoroughfares.
If I could change anything it would be the bar stays open later on the weekends. Good window view. Expensive snacks. The a/c works very well in our room..2 wedding parties that weekend and bartender couldn't get anyone to keep up with glassware in the kitchen which cost them money. In particular a customer ordered 10 shots and had to be turned down cuz the kitchen wasn't keeping up. (He ordered glasses from the kitchen 30 minutes prior.) Overall not a bad experience.
We were down in Knoxville to take our daughter to UT for a fall internship with the football team. The hotel was perfect for easy access to both the campus and her apartment. It was very clean and breakfast was substantial and quite good. It is located near Market Square, the Sunsphere and World's Fair Park as well as UT. Also really appreciated the free parking.
