From our arrival to departure, this hotel, casino, and restaurants were the best. The staff is unbelievable. Friendly, courteous, willing to help: from parking staff, front desk, doormen, casino and restaurant, these folks were top notch. My wife and I will be back soon.

Decided to visit museums in Detroit. Had stayed at The Inn on Ferry Street previously. Booked 3 nights. Visited 3 nearby museums and restaurants. Such a wonderful experience. Love the positive energy in Detroit.
Overall a really good experience. Originally we had planned to take Amtrak but they are on a summer maintenance schedule so we rented a car. That was a lucky break since what we really wanted to see would not have been that easy to reach by walking and with all the street construction a bit of mine field to navigate.
We moved from a pretty lousy motel into this one and thought it was decent enough considering the price. Ups: big room, comfortable bed, fairly quiet. Downs: No water pressure in shower, nail clippings on carpet and no staff or food to be found in the kitchen during their breakfast hours. Wasn't terrible but you get what you pay for.
Seems as though they are trying to improve. More updating needed as well as attention to detail in housekeeping. Have stayed here before and did see improvements this trip. Hopefully more to come. Shuttle guy very nice and clerk Steven was SUPER friendly! Keep improving and I will be back.
The hotel was wonderful. The staff was so friendly and personable. We loved the text after check-in to see if everything was to our liking. The cookies at check-in were delicious and warm. The courtesy van was a nice treat and very handy for traveling around the city.
Detroit’s metro area is home to nearly six million people. Downtown Detroit has undergone extensive urban renewal in the last 15 years. The 982-acre Belle Isle Park is a popular destination. Sports are big in the Motor City. The Detroit Tigers play baseball at Comerica Park, the Detroit Lions (football) are at Ford Field, and the Detroit Red Wings (hockey) are at Joe Louis Arena.
