"My stay at the Diplomat was lovely. It is an elegant hotel in a beautiful, historic building. The charm of the water across the street and being able to easily walk to the tram or subway near was super convenient. My room was well appointed with nice linens and a comfortable bed. Great water pressure in the shower too! I ate at the downstairs restaurant twice, both times exactly what I needed with good food and attentive service. "Central location. Convenient access to transportation, restaurants, shopping. Breakfast (charged separately) was good. Booked for 4 nights. AC was not working. Staff wasn’t helpful at all. Handed a small table fan!! Wouldn’t suggest this property. Area has many other properties which would probably be better. Expedia has become terrible at suggesting properties."

"The hotel is very easy to find. Plenty of taxis outside the hotel. Excellent staff , very helpful, efficient and and pleasant to work with 👍, spacious and clean lobby and room , close to subway and supermarket and eateries with a mall very close by with cafes. Breakfast was superb. The only thing I don’t like is that the bath tub is rather high and without any bars to grib on."
