"I was in Cardiff for a competition and so only used the room and no other facilities. It was lovely and clean, the toiletries were lovely but it was incredibly hot. Also a couple of biscuits would have been nice with the room refreshments. My husband checked us in and said the staff were all efficient and lovely."

"We recently stayed at The Beacon Hotel, Cardiff. As a 3-star hotel, it’s fairly basic and not the most modern or spotless, but it was adequate for a short stay. The location is convenient for getting around Cardiff, and the room had the essentials we needed. Breakfast was enjoyable, with a decent selection to start the day. A special thank you to Fatima, who looked after us really well during breakfast. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. Her service was definitely the highlight of our stay. Overall, a simple stay made better by great customer service."
