This is a small niche b/b hotel. Everything about it is excellent, the difference is the breakfast which is provided in your room via a small but fully functional kitchenette. This hotel was a lovely surprise, highly recommended.

Everything was perfect to what we wanted

Our 3rd visit to this wonderful hotel and we are already booking for December where they have lovely open log fires just adding to the surrounds. Ian also delighted they have relaxed the lounge menu which can now be eaten at tables. Quite right too so great management decision. Their main menu is a wonderful 5 courses but if staying more than a day then it’s nice to have a more relaxed menu choice which this time we had. We booked The Parkway for two nights as we were coming to Wales for a family party which was being held there. We have stayed there before, a long time ago and visited on various other occasions. We were impress by the helpfulness of the staff and the cleanliness. I couldn't fault it in any way. Our breakfast was among the best we have had anywhere. The bed was a bit hard, but that is a matter of personal taste. I loved the dragon mugs in the bedroom and bought three!

The hotel has some areas that seem a little tired and in need of updating. It was clean in most areas The staff were very pleasant and helpful, they are all worthy of praise. The food was fabulous although we didn’t always require a set 2 or 3 course meal. Drinks were expensive but the overall experience was very enjoyable and we would definitely recommend and visit again.

Really lovely hotel with fantastic public rooms. Cosy bar with log fire and home made cakes or cocktails later on. Food was delicious and service very friendly. Rooms are being upgraded and the views are beautiful.

My partner and myself had a relaxing time, we enjoyed the pool, Jacuzzi etc during the afternoon, we then sat down in the evening in the restaurant and enjoyed a lovely meal. The view although dark out was great of the lights in the valley. The room we had was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast which was buffet style and in the restaurant was very good, it had a lot to offer all tastes and was very plentiful. We will look to come back and hope to try the golf course next time.

Nice hotel within reasonable walking distance of ICC Wales (although an umbrella is useful if it rains!). Lovely restaurant (breakfasts are particularly good!), quiet bar open indefinitely to residents and helpful staff. Thoroughly recommended.

We booked the hotel for its proximity to Simmons Yat, a well known beauty spot. The hotel turned out to be just as attractive in its own way for our 7 day stay. The rooms were comfortable and adequately appointed. In the restaurant we found the menus to be wide ranging in choice and the quality of the food and presentation to be generally good. A few of the dishes, namely the Beef Stroganoff, Rump Steak and the Soup and Brie starters to be exemplary. The bar had a good selection of beers and...
