Regarding the self service breakfast on the Saturday and Sunday, because there was no plate warming facility, by the time you sat down to eat your egg and the bacon (which was not fully ...

A step back into an age of elegance. This is a hotel right out of an Agatha Christie novel. From the crunchy manicured gravel driveway to the claw footed bathtub in our room we felt as if we had been swept back into the early 20th century.

Great hotel - Excellent food. Stayed one night when the hotel was full. The staff were very welcoming and helpful (although one female member of the management was rather brusque and took staff away from the task of serving guests at a very busy time). We had a lovely stay and will certainly return.
