"The room we checked into hadn’t been cleaned after the previous tenants. The bed had been slept in, the fridge was full of rotting food, there was refuse on the counters. The floor in the bathroom was cracked and a massive trip hazard. The room had no towels or toilet paper. Every surface was covered in grime and the floor hadn’t been vacuumed.
